February 29th came and went. What did you do with the extra day? I think that with how many "holidays" we observe, the 29th should be a mandatory day off. Why spend the extra day working?!!
Here are some things you can do with your extra time:
- Sleep.
- Reflect
- See if your contracts have the clauses I've recommended.
- Assess if your employee handbook needs updating.
- Sit down and listen to someone who needs an open ear.
Hopefully, you did something you enjoy! If not, you have 4 years to prepare for the next one.
