On occasion, I'll spread the news about sponsorships or volunteer efforts of the firm. Sharing the information isn't for the purpose of making a gain on the charitable donations; it is about encouraging the readers to consider helping out others too.
SMRLS' Lawyers On Ice brings together lawyers from Hugo, Little Canada, Bloomington, Minneapolis, Hastings, and all over the metro area into the Xcel Energy Center for one night of hockey. SMRLS provides free and low-cost legal services to Twin Cities residents. My firm sponsors a team and helps recruit players to the game. The picture is our team this year -- happy to report we were champions again. I love playing hockey and playing where the Wild play is always a blast.
Another charity I support is Logan's Laps for Love. It's a story no parent should have to endure and I'll let you read it for yourself at https://loveforlogan.life. Logan's parents are extremely good friends from college. I loathe running, but they deserve support for the work they do to try and help other families.
